Winter: Color and Light

Online!

Jan 2022

Picture
In this new Zoom-based class, we will focus on the season of winter and how it effects colors, light and shadows. Winter can be perceived as being dull. The magic of painting winter is learning about how to achieve interesting muted colors, especially in shadows. We will paint landscape, of course, but we will also be studying other subjects that are affected
by winter’s light. We will discuss color choices and mixing interesting grays as seen in shadows. The instructor will demonstrate each week, and critiques will be given. You will also be able to paint together in class.
Level: Intermediate
Price: $200 USD
